Die hard dolphins
While a new contract would be nice, Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Dolphins, really wants to bring a championship back to Miami.

Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill expressed his desire to sign a new deal with the team earlier this offseason. Still, the ultimate goal for Miami’s all-pro wide receiver is much greater than anything money can buy.
Working out in Houston with trainer Justin Allen, Hill spoke to KPRC2’s Houston Texans beat writer, Aaron Wilson, about the upcoming season, the plethora of young wide receivers breaking the market, and, of course, his desire to get a new contract done with the team.
But first, Hill talked a bit about what brought him to Houston and what he’s trying to improve on as training camp nears.
“As I was going through that workout, I noticed that I had a lot of things that I needed to work on. I’ve been in the league nine years now, and Justin had a certain perspective of certain things that I need to work on. And that was great for me, because I’m always trying to find a way to get better. So, Justin was awesome for me.”
During his two seasons with the Dolphins, the man they call “Cheetah” had his two best years in the NFL, eclipsing 1700 yards in back-to-back seasons for a total of 3,509 yards on 238 receptions. He combined for 20 touchdowns, confirming his legacy as one of the most dynamic playmakers to ever touch the field.
But with so many young wide receivers — including teammate Jaylen Waddle — getting #paid the bag, Hill had to be anxious about his current situation, right?!
Miami and Hill will likely discuss a new extension in the coming weeks or at season’s end, hopefully agreeing on a reworked deal. If something doesn’t inevitably give, General Manager Chris Grier and Head Coach Mike McDaniel may have to start considering life without their superstar playmaker, but that’s not something anyone wants to think bout right now (especially quarterback Tua Tagovailoa).
In fact, there’s only one thing that Hill truly has his eyes set on:
“The real goal is to win the Super Bowl. It’s cool to get paid, but being able to win a Super Bowl and bring something special to the city of Miami that’s something that can live with us forever. I believe that’s very monumental for all of us.”
As both Wilson and Hill say, it’s time to #CreateGreatness.
Do you think the Miami Dolphins should extend wide receiver Tyreek Hill? Could Jaylen Waddle be ready to take the next step as Miami’s WR1? Is this the year the Dolphins finally win the AFC East and compete for an AFC Championship? Let us know in the comments section below!
