The Rabbitohs have announced that Euan Aitken will join the team on a three-year deal through to the end of the 2027 NRL season, following head coach Wayne Bennett. Aitken, who can play both in the centres and the second row, is currently recovering from a pec injury that has sidelined him for the rest of this season.

Aitken, who has represented Scotland five times, has accumulated 192 NRL appearances with the St George Illawarra Dragons (2015-20), New Zealand Warriors (2021-22), and The Dolphins (2023-24).

Mark Ellison, the club’s Head of Football, expressed enthusiasm about Aitken’s addition, noting his experience and defensive strength, as well as his ability to score tries.
