Setting a WNBA rookie record, Caitlin Clark helps Indiana Fever win big.
During the Indiana Fever’s game against the New York Liberty on Saturday, Caitlin Clark achieved a triple-double, becoming the first rookie in the WNBA to do so. She also reached double digits in assists, rebounds, and points.
The Fever, on the rise, won 83-78 thanks to the totals.
Clark narrowly missed out on a triple-double last week, falling short by one rebound. She went over the top today against the Liberty in the fourth quarter.
After Kayla Thornton missed a shot, Clark collected her 10th rebound, to go with 11 assists and 16 points, receiving a standing ovation from the crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The win capped a big week for Clark, who was earlier named to the WNBA all-star team.
