Auston Matthews Has a great chance to win another Hart Trophy
Can Auston Matthews win his second MVP in 2025 after a record-breaking season in which he scored an incredible 69 goals but was not selected as a finalist for the Hart Memorial Trophy?

As previously reported, Auston Matthews did not make the final three for the Hart Trophy after scoring 69 goals and dishing out 37 assists to finish the season with 107 points, making him only the ninth player in NHL history to do it.

Nathan MacKinnon, Nikita Kucherov, and Connor McDavid were the nominees; MacKinnon won the trophy following his 140-point campaign.
