REPORT: At the trade deadline, the Blue Jays send Kevin Kiermaier to the Dodgers.
WPTA – FORT WAYNE, IN Before his big league career ends, Kevin Kiermaier of Fort Wayne will need to move once more.
Just before the MLB trade deadline on Tuesday night, the Toronto Blue Jays dealt Kiermaier to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Ryan Yarbrough, a lefty pitcher, was dealt by the Dodgers to Toronto in exchange.
Kiermaier provides the Dodgers organization with excellent defense; he has declared that he will retire at the end of the 2024 season.
Throughout his career, the Bishop Luers alumnus has won four Gold Gloves. Kiermaier has only hit.195 with four home runs this season, but his defensive prowess might make him a useful bench addition for one of the league’s top clubs.
