Norwich City youngster Lewis Shipley has agreed a late loan move to Cheltenham Town, according to reporter Pete O’Rourke.
Norwich City have had a busy summer transfer window with manager Johannes Hoff Thorup making the squad his own at Carrow Road.
The Canaries still have until 11pm to get any late deals done. However, at this stage, it seems likely that the focus will be on getting players off the books rather than bringing new players in.
A number of young prospects have headed out on loan in recent days, and it seems another set to follow that path is centre-back Lewis Shipley.
According to reporter Pete O’Rourke, the Norwich City youngster is set to drop down to League Two in order to find regular minutes with Cheltenham Town.
The deal has been agreed and will now be subject to the late completion of the necessary formalities.
Having spent last year with Accrington Stanley, this marks Shipley’s second senior loan and second stay in League Two.
