Leeds United have shown interest in acquiring West Ham United striker Danny Ings, as reported by transfer journalist Darren Witcoop.

Witcoop shared live updates on talkSPORT on August 26 at 6:49 PM, revealing that the 32-year-old forward is no longer in Julen Lopetegui’s plans at West Ham. Both Leeds and Burnley are considered strong contenders for his signature.

Earlier reports on August 26 from TBR Football indicated that West Ham are in discussions to terminate Ings’ contract. Witcoop commented, “There’s considerable interest in Danny Ings. Witcoop added, “Ings would be a valuable addition for teams in the Championship. Among the clubs with the financial capacity to invest, Burnley and Leeds are prominent contenders for his transfer. Leeds are certainly in the race for Ings.”

Ings has struggled to make a significant impact at West Ham since joining, with limited appearances under David Moyes and a less promising outlook under Lopetegui.
