Leeds’ bid was rejected, and Brighton is preparing for Georginio Rutter’s next move—sources

After their earlier summer attempt to recruit Georginio Rutter for £30 million was unsuccessful, Brighton is still eager to reach an agreement with Leeds United.

Senior journalist Pete O’Rourke stated in an interview with the most recent episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast that Brighton is still in talks to sign the Frenchman before the transfer window ends.

As they attempt to push a deal over the finish line, it is thought that the Premier League team is preparing a fresh offer for the Leeds midfielder.

Paul Robinson, a former goalkeeper for Leeds, had told Football Insider that Brighton was anticipated to come back with a higher bid for the attacker.

Despite signing Ibrahim Osman and Yankuba Minteh this summer, new Brighton manager Fabian Herzeler is eager to expand his attacking options at the AMEX.

Brighton is interested in Rutter because of his versatility and his ability to play as a number ten and throughout the front line.
