With immediate effect, the Penrith Panthers can confirm that Asu “AJ” Kepaoa will join the team and Ativalu Lisati will leave to accept an offer from another NRL club.

Following his instant release from the Wests Tigers, Kepaoa inked a contract with the Panthers that will expire at the end of 2025.

Since making his first-grade debut in 2020, Kepaoa, at 24 years old, has participated in 42 NRL games.

“We’re thrilled to have AJ join our team,” stated Shane Elford, general manager of football for the Panthers.

“We are confident that this signing will benefit both AJ and our club. He is a talented player who we believe will thrive in the Panthers system.”

Lisati, a 23-year-old forward, has accepted an offer from another NRL team and will be leaving the Panthers.

Over the previous three seasons, Lisati was a vital component of the club’s NSW Cup team and contributed significantly to the team’s 2022 premiership win.

CEO of the Panthers Rugby League Matt Cameron stated, “Valu has been a great player for our club over the past few years, and made a positive impact on those around him.”

“I would like to thank Valu for his service and wish him all the best in the future on behalf of the Panthers.”
