Jamie Elliott, the Collingwood champion, is about to make his AFL comeback f……

The most recent information on the wounded Magpies midfield player has delighted fans.
AFL supporters were thrilled to learn that Jamie Elliott, who was thought to be out of the game, may play again after Collingwood said he may play against Geelong on Friday night. Due to a vascular problem in his foot, Elliott hasn’t played since Round 8, and top writer Tom Morris revealed last month that there were worries he would have to retire.
Later, Collingwood allayed such worries, and the team announced on Monday that the 31-year-old is almost ready to return. Elliott has the opportunity to play on Friday night against Geelong, but before a call is made, he must complete training this week.
“Jamie Elliott’s recuperation from a vascular issue has gone well,” the team reported. “He has increased his running loads over a three-week training block and has been cleared to begin full contact training.” Elliott’s availability for Friday night’s game will be determined by his completion of training on Wednesday.”
“Some of the follow-up testing he has had for the vascular issue has shown us that the issue has resolved or is almost getting to the point of getting 95 per cent resolved,” Collingwood Fitness CEO Jarrod Wade stated in a statement last month. We are aware that he will require a block of work as he has been out of commission for the last five or six weeks due to a lengthy layoff.
Morris had earlier expressed worries that the Premiership player would have to retire. “It is difficult to predict when Jamie Elliott will recover from his vascular problem. It can jeopardize one’s career. Nobody can predict for me when he will return,” Morris remarked.
“According to Collingwood, this injury began to heal in two to four weeks, but it’s currently TBC (to be confirmed).” There are two components: the first is when will he be ready to play? And secondly, is he genuinely motivated to return and play again?
