Heeney polls the full coaches votes after Round 22…

After Round 22, Isaac Heeney received the votes of all ten coaches. With an incredible last quarter, the great midfielder helped Collingwood lose on Friday night.

Heeney played well throughout the game, but it was his contested grabs and clutch goal that changed the game’s outcome in the closing minutes. At the end of the match, he had eight score involvements, 19 kicks, and 32 disposals. With 102 votes for the season, the 28-year-old has reclaimed the top spot on the rankings.

Chad Warner received six coaches’ votes in recognition of an equally outstanding effort. With 33 disposals, the young gun finished with eight score involvements and two crucial goals scored in the process.

With three goals to his name Will Hayward earned one coaches vote.
