The 9-4 Green Bay Packers will seek to rebound from their 34-31 setback to the Detroit Lions last Thursday when they face the 8-5 Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. Green Bay will be looking for their tenth win of the season as well as to maintain or enhance their NFL playoff seeding. Seattle, meanwhile, is hoping to maintain its lead in the NFC West after the Los Angeles Rams defeated the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night.

If the Packers defeat the Seahawks, Seattle and Los Angeles will have the same 8-6 record, with the Rams holding the tiebreaker because they won the two teams’ sole head-to-head encounter this season.

In other words, both teams have a lot to be playing for, and the Packers fortunately are getting several key players back from injury.

According to Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, both wide receiver Romeo Doubs and rookie safety Evan Williams have cleared concussion protocol and will play on Sunday night.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur told reporters today that WR Romeo Doubs and S Evan Williams now have cleared concussion protocol.

Doubs originally suffered his concussion in Green Bay’s Week 12 win over the 49ers. He has not seen the field since.

According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Doubs told reporters today, “I’m feeling really good … look forward to just continuously putting my best foot forward.”

Williams was knocked out of Green Bay’s latest loss to Detroit with his own concussion. Fortunately, he was able to clear protocol quickly as Javon Bullard, his fellow rookie safety, has already been ruled out for Sunday.

In addition to Doubs and Williams, rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper is expected to play against the Seahawks. It will be his first game since Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. Cooper injured his hamstring in practice leading up to the Packers’ matchup with the 49ers in Week 12.
