Eyes on the “exciting” Ait-Nouri replacement for the Wolves

Before making any new additions this summer, Wolverhampton Wanderers may need to sell some players, but it appears that Gary O’Neil has a number of targets in mind for a transfer to Molineux.

Before the summer transfer window opens, Wolves are reportedly interested in left-back Francisco Moura, according to A Bola.

If O’Neil is willing to bring the defender to the Midlands, signing Moura will only cost him about €10 million (£8.5 million). O’Neil is aware that his budget will depend on his ability to raise money through player sales.

At just 24 years old, Moura still has a few years to go before he reaches his prime, so this deal won’t break the bank and O’Neil may be an intriguing addition.

The first-choice left defender at the Old Gold, Rayan Ait-Nouri, is drawing a lot of interest because of his 2023–24 campaign performances, especially from Manchester City.

If the 22-year-old were to leave Molineux after four years, the club could undoubtedly make a large profit. This would allow O’Neil to focus on Moura as a direct replacement.
