Brighton Poised to Sign Ex-Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund Prospect Ferdi Kadioğlu

Florian Plettenberg reports that Brighton & Hove Albion is very close to acquiring Ferdi Kadıoğlu, the full-back for Fenerbahçe.
It was said last season that Kadıoğlu was being courted by Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund to join the Bundesliga in the January transfer window.
Still, Die Schwarzgelben managed to get a loan transfer for Ian Maatsen, the Chelsea defender at the time, while Der Rekordmiester decided to sign Sascha Boey.
But BvB’s interest in the Turkish international never went away, and this summer, the Black and Yellows are thinking of signing Kadıoğlu.
In any case, Dortmund chose not to pursue a signing of the 24-year-old because of Fenerbahçe’s financial demands on a possible deal.
Brighton was now in a situation where they had no rivals vying for the full-back’s signature.
The player has emphasized his desire to go, and it is now known that the Premier League team is working hard to finalize a trade.
The Euro 2024 star is eager to join the Seagulls at the Amex this summer, and former St. Pauli head coach Fabian Hürzeler is willing to pay Fenerbahçe’s €35 million asking price.
