BREAKING NEWS: Sheffield Swansea City and Oxford United delivered a blow to Brentford’s transfer aim on Wednesday.

Myles Peart-Harris, a young player from Brentford, had a chance to sign with Sheffield Wednesday, Swansea City, or Oxford United, but his desire to stay with the Bees through the 2024–25 season has hurt his chances.
The former Chelsea academy player has decreased the likelihood of moving to the Championship by stating to The Athletic that he is ready to play Premier League games right now.
Since at least the winter window, when the Star revealed that Peart-Harris was a possible target for them in January, Wednesday has been keeping an eye on him.
He ultimately joined Pompey during that window, and with his assistance, they went on to win League One.
Even though he has subsequently returned to his parent club in west London, EFL teams are still interested in signing him. In mid-June, The Star brought up the 21-year-old’s name once more as one of the alternatives the Owls were considering as they attempted to rebuild in preparation for the 2024–2025 season.
Less than a month later, Football Insider reported that Swansea and Oxford, who had just been promoted, were also vying for Peart-Harris’ services on a temporary basis.
The attacking midfielder has already played on loan in League One twice, first helping Forest Green Rovers finish bottom of the table and the other time helping them win the league alongside John Mousinho.
The 6′ 1″ Brentford guy believes his legs are long enough to literally take two steps at once, although he would normally test himself at the following step.
Myles Peart-Harris dashes transfer dreams for Oxford, Swansea, and Sheffield Wednesday
Peart-Harris has stated that, given his advanced age, he would prefer to play frequently and believes that the Gtech Community Stadium is the ideal venue for him to do so.
“I’m 22 (in September) and I want consistent game time,” he stated to The Athletic. My character has grown, and I’ve gained a lot of experience on the pitch from my previous two loans. Although Brentford has many talented players, I’m up for the challenge.
The England youth international went on, “I want to show the manager and myself that I can be in that environment and play week in, week out.” “I’m hungry and determined to show the world what I can do.”
These remarks most definitely don’t imply that a transfer to any of the three affiliated Championship teams is planned at this time.
According to The Star, there are hints that Brentford’s manager, Thomas Frank, may decide to keep the 21-year-old in the starting lineup. They also mentioned that Peart-Harris would soon get a new deal.
