Talagi’s departure from the Eels is confirmed at the end of the NRL season.

Blaize Talagi, a young player, will be leaving the Parramatta Eels at the end of the NRL season. The team expects he will sign with the Panthers, according to reports. Over the past few months, there has been a lot of curiosity about the 19-year-old’s future due to claims linking him to many rival teams.
Furthermore, the Eels announced on Wednesday that Talagi had informed management he would not be taking their offer for the upcoming season, dealing a severe blow to new coach Jason Ryles. The young player, who debuted in the NRL earlier this season, has been a bright spot for the struggling team.
Prior to Wednesday’s decision, Talagi had drawn interest from several rival teams after first declining an offer to stay for the upcoming season. “The club made a very strong offer to Blaize, provided a clear path for his football future and consistently made it clear to Blaize and his family that we wanted him to be part of the club long-term.” Jim Sarantinos, CEO of Parramatta, stated in a statement. “While we are disappointed, particularly given the opportunities provided to Blaize during his time at the club, we wish him all the best.”
Penrith Panthers are associated with Blaize Talagi.
There is currently a lot of conjecture regarding his potential signing destination, and according to Danny Weidler of Channel 9, the Panthers will probably be it. “Word out of Eels is they think Blaze Talagi will head to Panthers … but this is just the discussion coming out of Parra,” he said to social media. “Not verified. I called the Panthers, but got no answer.”
