Few would dispute that the window has had a slow start, though.

While there is optimism that Eddie Howe may help Lloyd Kelly grow, Nick Pope will undoubtedly remain the team’s top goalie with the other two additions.

Newcastle is moving quickly to bring in two players this summer.
In the upcoming weeks, the club is eager to add at least two players, according to GIVEMESPORT.

According to rumors, Howe is itching for more options in his squad for the upcoming season, and adding a new right-winger and another central defender is likely on the cards.

It’s said that there’s a desire to close the transactions before the season opener against Southampton at St James’ Park.

Newcastle does not have much time to prepare the team.
A large portion of Howe’s starting lineup has already returned for preseason workouts, and Bruno Guimaraes will do so shortly after Brazil’s elimination from the Copa America.

It’s highly likely that Kieran Trippier and Anthony Gordon will return, whatever of the outcome of England’s performance in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final.
