BREAKING NEWS: Memphis Grizzlies Shut Down Zach Edey for Remainder of NBA Summer League
Zach Edey, a rookie and former Purdue star, was sidelined by the Memphis Grizzlies for the remainder of Summer League after he fell awkwardly on his ankle on Thursday.
Zach Edey played in just two games during his NBA Summer League stint. With the Memphis Grizzlies holding the ninth overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, the former Purdue standout has been stopped.
Following his ankle niggle on Thursday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, the 7-foot-4 center Edey was benched for the remainder of the NBA 2K25 Summer League. Damichael Cole of the Commercial Appeal broke the story.
