BREAKING NEWS: LSU lands a commitment from one of the top players in Louisiana out of New Orleans

LSU continues to fill its recruiting classes with highly regarded defensive backs, including one of the best players in Louisiana in 2026.

Aiden Hall, a four-star safety rated by Edna Karr, confirmed his commitment to the Tigers on social media on Saturday. Based on the 247Sports composite, he is ranked as the fifth prospect in the state and 53rd overall in the 2026 class.

There are already four players from LSU in the 2026 class, and they are all from the New Orleans region. Hall was joined by three-star McDonough 35 safety Jakai Anderson, four-star Edna Karr defensive lineman Richard Anderson, and three-star Warren Easton offensive lineman Jalan Chapman.

One of the top 10 players in the 2025 class and five-star cornerback DJ Pickett made a pledge last month, which was followed by Hall’s announcement. Four defensive backs have already committed to LSU for the next two recruiting cycles, and the school is also pursuing Jonah Williams, a five-star safety prospect in 2025.
