Leeds United is aiming to complete some signings before the market closes over the last few weeks of the summer transfer window, but one player will have to be crossed off Daniel Farke’s list of targets.

The Whites have enjoyed a busy transfer window thus far, and should they complete Crysencio Summerville’s transfer to West Ham United of the Premier League, they will receive a monetary bonanza of £25 million. The winger has reportedly finished his physical in East London, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg’s story yesterday. It is anticipated that the Dutchman will agree to a four-year contract with the Hammers.
In addition, Wilfried Gnonto, an Italian forward, is still unknown. Numerous teams in the top five leagues in Europe are showing interest in the 20-year-old. Everton, for example, has rekindled their interest in Gnonto after losing out on signing him during the previous summer transfer window.

Alongside the departures of Archie Gray to Tottenham Hotspur and Glen Kamara to Ligue 1 side Rennes, Farke’s squad has lost a wealth of talent ahead of the club’s bid for promotion to the Premier League at the second attempt. As a result, signings will need to be made before the window shuts to complement the arrivals of Joe Rothwell, Alex Cairns and Jayden Bogle as well as the return of central defender Joe Rodon.

One name that has been linked with a move to Leeds United this summer is Norwich City star Gabriel Sara. Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport reported last week, via MOT Leeds News, that the West Yorkshire outfit were eyeing an ambitious raid of their promotion rivals by signing the Brazilian midfielder but faced stiff competition from Leicester CityCrystal Palace, Europa League winners Atalanta and Galatasaray.
