BREAKING NEWS: Birmingham City offer prompts club to rush for renewal – Blues may ruin things
Hannover 96 are looking to tie down Phil Neumann to a new contract, prompted by Birmingham City’s attempts to sign him.
Florian Plettenberg has reported the German side are looking to extend the defender’s contract, with his current deal set to expire next summer. Hannover want the player to commit himself to them until June 2027, but there are no reports on the financial package they are offering him.
The German journalist goes on to say Hannover are responding to Birmingham City’s recent offer for the right back. Plettenberg reports the Championship side recently tabled a €4m bid, plus add-ons, for Neumann.
