BREAKING NEWS: AC MILAN EXPRESSES INTEREST IN THE MANU KONÉ OF BORUSSIA MÖNCHENGLADBACH

Kicker claims that AC Milan is thinking about signing Manu Koné, a midfielder for Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Last summer, Koné was at the centre of multiple transfer sagas. With a number of top European clubs showing interest in the French midfielder, Liverpool had emerged as favourites to secure his signature.

Nevertheless, Koné stayed at Gladbach since a move away never happened, even after an outstanding 2022–23 season.

Over the previous 12 months, Bayern Munich has added Koné to their shortlist, indicating continued interest in his services. However, due to injuries and poor performance, Koné’s name has faded from the news.

This might soon change, though, as AC Milan is reportedly considering a move for the 23-year-old. Koné’s future is unclear after he returns from his international duty with France’s U23 team at the Olympics.

Gladbach is open to selling Koné this summer, but it will rely on Milan expressing a firm interest.
