Following a bye week, Alabama and LSU will once again square off in a huge SEC matchup. Given that both teams presently have two defeats on their resumes, this game could be seen as an elimination game for the College Football Playoffs. While the other will be watching the 12-team format from home, the winner might launch their season.

This meeting has become a classic on the college football schedule, but this time around it will feel different. At least in his capacity as coach, Nick Saban will not be on the sidelines. Both of these programs had national championships under Saban’s coaching.

Now, he will be in Baton Rouge as an analyst for the first-ever meeting between Kalen DeBoer and Brian Kelly.

Unfortunately, both clubs are battling with some injuries before the game. The most recent injury report, which showed us who might miss Saturday’s game, was released on Wednesday.

Please note that there will be at least three more reports from Tiger Stadium before to kickoff. While Saturday’s announcement takes place approximately 90 minutes prior to kickoff, Thursday and Friday will both be released at approximately 8 p.m. ET. The whole injury report is available here.

Jalen Milroe discusses LSU crowd noise at Tiger Stadium

Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge is one of the best environments across college football, especially at night.
