Chicago Sky star Angel Reese isn’t wasting any time when it comes to helping her team as they enter the post-Teresa Weatherspoon era. On Saturday, the Sky hired Las Vegas Aces assistant Tyler Marsh to be their next head coach. Interestingly, after news of the hiring surfaced, Reese also got to work in a bid to further improve the roster.

Reese first took to X to react to the Sky’s head coaching decision, writing a simple “W” to indicate her belief that the Marsh hiring is a win for Chicago. Aces guard Sydney Colson then responded to the youngster’s post, jokingly saying, “Excuse me?! We’re grieving, have some respect!” The Sky All-Star poked fun at Colson’s reaction and delivered a lighthearted banter, saying she’ll “send some tissues” while they grieve the loss of an important member of the organization.

That’s also when Reese inserted a recruiting pitch for Colson, noting that she’s welcome in Chicago if she decides to follow Marsh.
