AI-NA…:REAL MADRID WANTS TO RETURN TO LA LIGA WITH ONE OF CRISTIANO RONALDO’S AL-NASSR TEAMMATES

A defensive player for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia has been targeted by the powerful people at La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid as a possible summer addition.

El Larguero asserts that Aymeric Laporte is the player in question and points to him as such.

For his part, Stopper Laporte is just coming off of another successful summer in which his stock has increased across the continent.

His contributions as the focal point of Spain’s defense on the way to La Roja’s victory at Euro 2024 are also well appreciated.

Laporte shown that he has not missed a beat since moving from Manchester City to the Saudi Pro League, the elite level of European football, and he established himself as an essential part of manager Luis de la Fuente’s starting lineup for Spain.

Evidently, this was sufficient to get the interest of one of the top clubs in his native nation.

According to an El Larguero report:

Since Nacho left, Real Madrid is searching for a central defender. And the focus is on Laporte. The player, who wishes to rejoin the league and is prepared to forgo his large contract, is one of the choices under consideration.

The issue, though, is with Al-Nassr’s position.

The Riyadh-based team, where Cristiano Ronaldo, another Real Madrid legend, is presently playing, is reportedly adamantly opposed to Laporte’s departure.

It is still unclear if the 30-year-old will be able to influence the decisions made by those working behind the scenes at Al-Nassr Stadium.
