As the ACC enters a new football era, so do UNC football and Mack Brown.

For the first time since 2021, the Tar Heels will head into a new season with a quarterback other than Drake Maye. UNC is expected to play both Max Johnson and Conner Harrell at quarterback in Week 1 at Minnesota, per Brown during his media availability on Aug. 23.

Returning to the Tar Heels offense is star running back Omarion Hampton, who last year ran for the second-most rushing yards in a single season in UNC history with 1,504 rushing yards on 253 carries and 15 rushing touchdowns.
