Swedish media reports that AIK midfielder Lamine Fanne is on the brink of finalizing a transfer to Luton Town before the window closes tomorrow.
Over the past week, the 20-year-old Spanish talent has been connected with moves to both Luton Town and Italian club Venezia. According to Expressen, Fanne is scheduled to fly to the UK today to complete his transfer to the English Championship side.
The report suggests that the deal could reach up to £5 million, including add-ons, with Fanne set to undergo a medical examination upon his arrival in London. Although details about the length of the contract remain unclear, Luton Town has outmaneuvered Venezia, who reportedly made two bids for the player.
Fanne has made nine league appearances for AIK this season, scoring once, and is under contract with the Swedish club until June 2027.
