The culmination of a much-awaited Birmingham City transfer is nearing.
According to Fabrizio Romano, midfielder Jordan James of Birmingham City is getting closer to finalizing his transfer to Rennes.
Last week, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano revealed that James had received an acceptance from Rennes, and he has since supplied an update. After a settlement was reached last week, he posted on Monday, August 12, saying the 20-year-old was still undergoing a medical examination.
According to the BBC’s report, Birmingham City will get £8m for James. It is higher than the €4.5 million plus bonuses bid that Tutto Mercato Web said Atalanta had made in the January transfer window.
