BREAKING NEWS: Hibs are interested in signing Junior Hoilett, an Aberdeen loan star, and they are considering his transfer.

David Gray, the manager, is interested in adding more offensive alternatives for his team, and he likes the Canadian international.

Junior Hoilett could have a chance to play in the Scottish Premiership again if Hibs make an approach.

Manager David Gray is looking to add to his side’s attacking options and the Canadian international is on his radar. The 34-year-old is a free agent after leaving Aberdeen at the end of the season. Hoilett was offered an extension by the Dons but he stalled on it and new incoming boss Jimmy Thelin decided to move on to other targets last month.

Hoilett is now getting back to full fitness after he suffered an injury in training that cost him a place in the Copa America with Canada. The former Queen’s Park Rangers winger impressed in his short-time at Aberdeen. He came to the fore under Peter Leven and chipped in with a number of goals and assists. That has brought him to the attention of Gray. Hoilett has a wealth of top level experience with QPR, Blackburn, Cardiff City, Reading and Vancouver Whitecaps. Gray is also looking to bring in another striker with Fulham’s Kieron Bowie, who is a player that they are keen on.
