The possible starting lineup for Leeds United with Max Wober and Brenden Aaronson

It was anticipated going into the offseason that the 49ers would try to trade every player who had opted out of their contract through loan after being relegated, including Victor Orta. However, Wober and Aaronson have both since returned.

The one who makes sense is Aaronson. Even though Aaronson, who is only 23 years old, cost £25 million, and despite his difficulties in his debut season and later at Union, The Whites would suffer a significant financial loss if they were to sell.

Given that Daniel Farke’s team still lacks a no. 10, it makes sense that Aaronson, an American with tremendous of talent, has remained at Leeds. Things are a little different with Wober.

Leeds’ possible lineup with Wober and Aaronson in it
Wober, 26, attended Gladbach and excelled there. After a rough first game against France, he had a respectable showing at Euro 2024. Wober left Gladbach because they couldn’t afford him, so he moved back to Leeds.

He is involved, but who’s to say it won’t happen again considering how easily he left Leeds the previous term? Aaronson and Wober had nothing to do with Harrogate, but Farke altered the system.

With James Debayo and Ethan Ampadu on each side of Joe Rodon, he deployed a back three. Dan James and Junior Firpo at wing-back, but what might it look like if Aaronson and Wober are both on the team?

In 2024–2024, Wober and Aaronson might be vital to Leeds
Wober would undoubtedly start in the midst of a back three with Rodon and Pascal Struijk on either side when Leeds was at its best. Two forwards up top are followed by Firpo and Jayden Bogle as wing-backs on either side of a midfield three.

With three defenders behind him, Joe Rothwell has the freedom to be a more aggressive version of Glen Kamara. Back as a defensive screen anchor for Farke’s team was Ethan Ampady.

The natural no. 10 that the Whites missed the previous season is given to Leeds by USA star Aaronson in front of them. Above: Georginio Rutter and, should the Dutchman stay at Elland Road this term, perhaps Crysencio Summerville.
