BREAKING NERS: “Valentino Rossi remains the world’s greatest.” — McGuinness, John
A track day at Silverstone was recently arranged by Monster Energy, bringing together a variety of riders and guests. Among them were two racing icons from separate categories, John McGuinness and Valentino Rossi.
The Englishman, who is 52 years old, is well known for being an expert in the Isle of Man TT and has won 23 times there. However, one of the most successful riders in MotoGP history is Il Dottore.
The Italian is still impressive on motorcycles, even though he is now fully committed to auto racing. McGuinness told TNT Sport how Rossi’s performance at the Monster Energy event had a profound effect on him:
