Five former Tar Heels are participating in the NBA Summer League this year, meaning that the UNC basketball program will have a strong presence.

Every player will be trying to gain a spot on the roster of their own team for the next season, or they will be trying to impress other teams in order to get a chance elsewhere. The rosters that the former UNC basketball players will be on are as follows:

first-time players
Harrison Ingram, second-round selection of the San Antonio Spurs
Utah Jazz’s Armando Bacot (Exhibit-10 deal)
Oklahoma City Thunder – Cormac Ryan (Exhibit-10 contract)

It will be a battle of the former Tar Heels on day one of summer league action, as Harrison Ingram’s Spurs will take on Leaky Black and the Hornets at the California Classic Summer League.
